The timeless, delicate shade of powder pink on a cotton jersey knit in a slightly thicker version is recommended for everyday and sportswear, i.e. t-shirts, shirts, tops and leggings. Jersey is also sensational for summer dresses and skirts, year-round tunics, pyjamas and underwear for both young children and adults.
The material has a high cotton content (98%), which results in great confidence and popularity among sewing mums. The fabric is often used to make baby caps, bodysuits, pyjamas, pajamas, bed linen (fitted sheets) and educational toys. In addition, its gently folded hem and low tendency to fray or rip make the knitted fabric ideal for creating casual style garments.
At first glance, the smooth, almost opaque, slightly stretchy knit has been made from 98% common cotton fibres and 2% elastane. The natural raw material makes the fabric characterised by excellent physiological and hygienic properties. It absorbs moisture very well, is breathable and nevertheless provides good thermal insulation. In addition, it does not exhibit the ever-persistent tendency to become electrified.
