The structure of Silki, consisting of a simple canvas weave and thin threads of continuous polyester fibres, is a guarantee of an incredibly pleasant, delicate touch and excellent drapeing. The fabric is very light (90 g/m2), thin, airy, strongly flowing and, despite its light colouring, almost opaque.
The Silki fabric is durable because the polyester fibres used in its production are characterised by very good tear and abrasion resistance. In addition, the material guarantees the feeling of a delicate, pleasant coolness in contact with the skin and does not wrinkle much. The material is elastic and slightly stretches across, which is extremely useful when sewing tailored garments.
