High quality Barbie fabric in the colour of dark beige, popular as Marchiano, is recommended for elegant dresses, skirts and blazers. However, its properties allow for a much wider usage. The material is perfect for thinner jackets, such as bombers, coats, simple tunics, blouses or even interior decorations.
Strongly flowing fabric is incredibly pleasant to the touch and slightly elastic towards the weft (across the fabric). Its considerable thickness means that it is opaque and drapes very well. The 97% polyester fibre composition ensures low shrinkage and good tear and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the fabric does not wrinkle much, dries quickly and is not sensitive to moisture and microorganisms.
