Upholstery Knitted Fabric Velour - Dark Blue

Velour, often found under the name velvet, is recommended for extremely elegant decorative pillows, heavy curtains and upholstery of seats, pouffes, chairs, armchairs or headrests. Dark blue shade of the knitted fabric combined with a light shine guarantees its noble look. Additionally, the velour is very soft, slightly slippery, does not shine through and is gently elastic. 

Synthetic polyester fibers make the fabric not wrinkle and dry quickly. Additionally, it is durable, which is confirmed by laboratory tests. It has an excellent abrasion resistance of 140,000 strokes, high resistance to pilling (grade 5). It also enjoys high resistance to colouring caused by friction and low thread displacement in the seam.

• Seam slippage - warp: 2,5 mm, weft: 2,3 mm (test method EN ISO 13936-2)
• Bursting strength - 333 kPa (test method EN ISO 13938-1)
• Colour fastness to light - 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-B02)
• Colour fastness to rubbing - dry: 4-5 grade, wet: 4-5 grade (test method EN ISO 105-X12)
