The rib knit has high elasticity along the weft (across the product) and low elasticity along the length. The high weight (450 g/m²) determines the considerable thickness and softness. Excellent comfort of use is guaranteed by the raw material composition, i.e. 95% of cotton fibres and 5% of elastane. Natural yarns ensure a pleasant, warm touch and high air permeability. However, elastic polyurethane fibres guarantees high pliability.
Offered product is called a weft rib knit fabric. It is produced on a circular knitting machines in the tubular form, 60 cm wide. This means that after it is cut, a total width of 120 cm is obtained. The typical for this type of material are ribs visible on both sides. They are running along the entire length of the material.
The navy blue fabric is perfect for sewing on sleeves, necklines or pockets. Additionally, due to its high surface weight (430 g/m2) it is possible to sew fitting skirts or dresses.
