The loopback jersey owes its great trust and popularity to its high content of natural cotton fibres and the Oeko-tex Standard 100 certificate, which informs us about the absence of substances harmful to our health. The elastic material is hygroscopic, does not electrify and lets air pass freely.
Under the name of a loopback jersey there is a weft knitted fabric, which on the wrong side has additional weft threads forming a soft layer arranged in the form of dense and fine loop. The construction of the fabric makes it more stretchable towards the warp than the weft, soft and has good thermal insulation properties. Additionally, the edges of the knitted fabric have a tendency to roll, which is often used to create loose, casual style clothing.
